We are celebrating our 21st birthday and we couldn’t have reached this milestone without our fantastic team and customers – so to everyone we want to say a HUGE thank you for playing a part in our journey. And it’s not just the world around us that’s changed during that time too – we have too. Our team which started out as four has grown to 22 with more plans to recruit later this year.
Originally based in Longport – we moved into new premises in Apedale Road, Newcastle in 2021 as part of our continuous expansion plans. It has on-site parking and storage for more than 200 vehicles.
The services we offer has grown too and we specialise in:
• Daily and short-term rental vehicles and light commercial vehicles
• Fleet outsourcing and fleet management
• Green Fleet Transition Management
• Car & LCV procurement and funding
Other successes this year have included:
• Being reappointed onto the Crown Commercial Services framework for the supply of Fleet Management Services – one of only ten providers across the UK. Being on the Framework gives us access to fleets within Central Government and wider public sector organisations with a combined 120,000 car and commercial fleet across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
• Our rental division has also been appointed by the UK’s largest rental provider, as a key supplier. As a result, we are already supplying vehicles to a number of household names including Amazon, Royal Mail, E-on, Parcelforce and Cadent.
• We’ve also won five other key accounts to our fleet management equating to an extra 500 vehicles. That’s in addition to the 1500 vehicles we already have for contract hire.
• We have also invested in electric vehicles to reduce our fleet’s carbon footprint, launching a new service called Green Adept. (https://adeptvehicle.com/adept-green-consultancy-service/)
Director Carl Cumbo added: “I think three main things have contributed to our growth. The first is around customer service – our customer retention rate stands at 95%, with over 75% of the existing customers increasing their custom by at least 35%. Secondly, we also win new customers based on our reputation and much of our new customers come from existing customers who have recommended us. Finally, we have won-back historical customers who for whatever reason left us but decided to come back to Adept and our team. We are very proud of what we have achieved so far and are excited about the new products and services we have launched. We look forward to building on that success over the next twelve months and beyond.”
